How do I book a stay at The Garden Villa?
Our accommodations, pricing, and stay experience on Airbnb are tailored for two adults only, and we enforce a strict No Guests Policy to maintain the tranquility of our surroundings. If you are interested in having us host a garden event, please continue reading these FAQs. If you are only interested in a stay of two, please proceed to our Airbnb listing and reserve your stay. We utilize Airbnb as our booking platform, offering a secure and seamless user experience for both guests and hosts to connect. Airbnb facilitates easy reservation modifications and serves as a central hub for all communication. Additionally, the platform provides verified reviews for both parties, aiding future travelers in their decision-making process.
How do I inquire more about having an event at The Garden?
Our villa events are meticulously crafted to host up to 40 guests/attendees, offering an unforgettable and intimate setting for your special celebration. Please note that events can only be accommodated from May through late October due to weather conditions. If you are interested in a garden event,you need to write us directly using the email address/message box on the Contact page of this website instead to the Airbnb account for consideration. Please include detailed information as to the type of event, the number of guests, and activities that will take place. To explore our venue firsthand, site tours are available by appointment only.
How Does Your Event Rental Work?
We offer four rental options for special events. The options available will depend on the availability of your requested date.
1. Four-Hour Rental
Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Perfect for celebrations that require only light preparation while still leaving ample time to enjoy a brunch or gathering afterward. This rental includes access to the garden and use of the pavilion.
2. Four-Hour Rental with Villa Overnight Stay for Two
Celebrate your special occasion, then relax and enjoy the remainder of your day together in the garden. The rental begins at 11:00 AM, with the event concluding and guests departing by 3:00 PM, villa check-out is by 11:00 AM the following day. This rental includes access to the garden and pavilion for your event, as well as use of the villa for your overnight stay.
3. Full-Day Rental with Villa Overnight Stay for Two
Our most popular package for weddings that include both a ceremony and a reception. The rental period begins at 2:00 PM with the event concluding and guests departing by 9pm, villa check-out is by 11:00 AM the following day. Events may take place in the garden and/or pavilion. The villa is available as a preparation space before the event and for an overnight stay afterward for the newlyweds.
We have found that by adding an extra night (subject to villa availability) to the above greatly enhances our couples' enjoyment by reducing stress and providing ample time for event preparation, as well as allowing you to tailor your stay around your preferred ceremony time.
Our event rental pricing starts at $1,895 and varies based on the type of event, season, and guest count. We also offer two additional accommodations on the property that may be reserved for family and friends, making your celebration even more seamless and convenient.
4. Elopement
Rate: $300 per hour (two-hour maximum). Available Monday through Wednesday between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. This option accommodates up to 10 guests only.
All event packages include tables, chairs, and linen rentals. Detailed information and customized quotes are available upon request.
Are vendors allowed for my event?
Vendors are welcome; however, each vendor's trade must be pre-approved by us, and they must carry professional insurance to work on the property.
Are photographers allowed for my event?
Our garden and landscaping are designed and engineered to be the perfect photography backdrop. No one knows more about the special photo spots and lighting than we do. We are pleased to offer you special photography packages to choose from, or you are welcome to bring your own professional photographer.
How do we go about food and drinks for my event?
You can prepare your own meals using your secret family recipes, hire a personal chef, or have a professional caterer handle the reception. Additionally, we are located near several celebrated restaurants, which you can designate for your reception. After the festivities, you can return to the villa to relax and unwind. There are limitations on the types of alcoholic drinks you can offer to your guests on the property, please inquire with us for more details.
Are all outdoor amenities available throughout the year?
The ideal outdoor activity season in Columbus, Ohio typically spans from early May through late October. During this period, all outdoor amenities, including the outdoor tub, will be fully available for our villa guests (not event) to enjoy. Please note that these amenities will be winterized during other months when outdoor activities are less feasible.
How soon should I book my event?
Each event request is carefully considered based on the type of event, number of guests, and the availability of our hosts and support staff. Please note that our Airbnb calendar is not an accurate reflection of event availability. Certain dates are reserved exclusively for overnight stays, while others are designated for events.
Popular wedding months, particularly May, June, and September, are often booked 6 to 12 months in advance so we recommend contacting us as soon as you have a specific date(s) in mind. The most reliable way to check availability is to reach out directly, and we will be happy to discuss your event and available options.

Nestled in the northwest suburb of Columbus, we're situated off West Dublin-Granville Road, conveniently positioned between SR. 315 and Sawmill Road. Tucked away in a serene environment, our location offers tranquility while being within easy reach of modern conveniences. Enjoy both sophisticated and casual dining options, explore various shopping opportunities, and take a romantic stroll across the world's longest S-shaped pedestrian bridge. We are just 12 to 15 minutes away from OSU and downtown Columbus and 20 minutes to CMH International Airport.
